The letter "M" was designed in CorelDraw and then exported to a HPGL.plt file. Next the plt file was opened in FoamShaper in which the operator set the cutting parameters and then clicked "Cut". The trolleys with the straight resistant cutting wire stretched between them move in the X and Y axes according to the drawing generated in Corel. The third dimension is identical with the material thickness. This basic cutting method is available on all MegaPlot foam cutters. This procedure is used for cutting lettering, logos, certain architectural elements (e.g. cornices), packaging, etc.
